Government
During COVID-19
3rd generation in procurement, Mr Heald was an innovator in response to the COVID-19 pandemic & in March 2020, was able to draw on all these years of experience and vital contacts in the private and government sector globally, to procure, manufacture and deliver PPE into Australian, when others in the industry struggled.
Working directly with the Australian Department of Health & Industry we were able to contribute to the COVID-19 response:
- We manufactured PPE and medical mask fabric strictly adhering to Australian standards & Australian TGA requirements for the Department of health and industry
- By doing so we supported government and health sector confidence in the quality of PPE imported into Australia at this time
- We delivered all contracts according to schedule, demonstrating to the government our capacity to respond swiftly to emergencies and be a trusted supplier for current and future situations
We were able to add significant value to this priority government sector, to scale-up in a short space of time, and still be competitive during this period. By using our existing resilient supply chain process, we were able to procure, manufacture, airfreight, and sea freight 40-foot HC PPE during the hardest time in the world to do so.
Current Climate
2 years on and we are a fully approved supplier of the Australian Federal Government, continuing to support by the way of inventory in our own warehouses. We are still involved in the procuring, manufacturing, and importing of PPE, Covid 19 devices and other health related products to support and prepare for future health crisis and recovery.
In the new and ever-changing landscape, we still maintain and regularly audit a resilient supply chain process to alleviate possible disruption for prepared response and delivery times.
We also continue to invest in our supply chain process to guarantee scalability for short time frames, to deliver the next phase of PPE and medical related products into Australia & globally, including assisting and being prepared for new and emerging health threats whatever they may be.
